Windows Services Applications
|
Windows services are a type of application that are long running, executable and have a specific purpose such as checking CPU health. These applications do not have a UI, and may start automatically on system start up and controlled using Windows Service Manager. Since a windows service does not interfere with the functioning of an individual user or a set of users it is ideal for implementing long-standing functionality especially on a server system.
.NET framework supports two basic types of services. One is a service which has its own process and the other is a type of service which shares processes with other services.
Silicus has expertise and experience developing both types of applications and has worked on the .NET framework using C# as the development language. |
